LAURI WELTEROTH, Owner, has dedicated herself to educating children to the athletic, recreational, and health benefits of dance for the past twenty years. She nurtures each student's confidence and talent as if they were her own. As owner of the Dance Center, Lauri prides herself on bringing the latest dance styles, the best technical training, and a well-rounded staff to her students. Lauri has studied jazz at the Edge Performing Arts Center in Los Angelos and with Luigi in New York City. She has also studied with the Pittsburgh Ballet and Phoenix Ballet. Lauri takes pride in creating confident, expressive dancers and strong, intelligent individuals. |
ALISON STROOP, Dance Director, holds a BFA in dance from Oklahoma City University and has extensive teaching experience in ballet, tap, jazz, gymnastics, and kinderdance. She taught at dance schools in Boston & surrounding areas, New York , New Jersey , and Chicago. She has numerous credits including A Chorus Line, Crazy for You, Nutcracker/Boston, and dance captain Busch Gardens , Virginia. |

DEAN STROOP attended Indiana University as a theatre major and has teaching / choreography experience in tap, clogging, jazz & musical theatre. Dean has been a performer in NYC for several years. Some of his numerous credits include the First National Tour of Crazy For You, Minnie Pearl's Grand ‘Ol Country Music Tour, 42nd Street , European Tours of “Hair” and “Jesus Christ Superstar” and many many more. |
| RACHEL PAULHAMUS received a B.F.A. in Dance with a concentration in ballet from Pointe Park University after graduating from North Carolina School of the Arts high school program as a ballet major. After graduating from college, she went to perform with Columbia City Ballet as a corps de ballet member. Her performance experience includes “Dracula”, various roles in the “Nutcracker” including the Arabian Divertissement, Odette in “ Swan Lake ”, Raymonda in “Raymonda” and many more. |

REBECCA ANNE PHILLIPS also trained at LKW and completed the “teacher in training” program. She has been working with young children for many years. She currently attends Lock Haven University where she is studying elementary education |
Michele Kautz joined LKW in 1989 as a member of it's Performing Dance Company. She began dancing in elementary school and studied Ballet further at the University of Pittsburgh. She delivered LKW's Kinderdance outreach program to local daycare centers and schools. Michele has been teaching young children for many years. |
